FREE MEDICAL CAMP FOR OLD AGE AND PENSIONERS CONDUCTED AT PHEK

            A one-day free medical camp for old aged and pensioners under the Theme ‘OP SADBHAVANA’ was conducted on 7th April 2021 at Phek Town Local ground. The Medical camp was sponsored and conducted by the 22nd BAIS BAHADUR Assam Rifle, Phek Battalion and organized by The Phek District Pensioners’ Association (PDPA).

            The program was led by President Phek District Pensioners Association (PDPA), Yeveyi Sapuh. The Medical team comprised of Captain Abdul Sharma, MBBS/RMO, 22nd AR, Phek, Dr.Sivesh Varshan;  Medicine Specialist Dr. Ngupelo Koza;  MO, Dr. Victoris Seb; Skin Specialist, Dr. Neikhrielie Khro and SDO(C) Phek, Samuel Thyug.

            The camp was conducted to cater to the need of the old citizens by providing proper health information and nutrition. Medicines and other amenities were provided to the beneficiaries.

            Vote of thanks was delivered by President, Phek District Pensioners Association, Yeveyi Sapuh. A total number of 290 citizens were registered at the camp.
