To promote skill development and entrepreneurship, a free training program on Bamboo Handicrafts, Fruits and Vegetable Dehydration, and Processing is currently taking place in Meluri. The training, sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, is organized by the Nagaland Tools Room & Training Centre.

The initiative for this free training was spearheaded by S P Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur IPS, in collaboration with the Ladies Club and Tizu Club of Meluri. Approximately 40 enthusiastic trainees have already registered for the program and are actively participating in the training sessions.
