General Observer for 8 Western Angami A/C, 14 Southern Angami-I A/C, and 15 Southern Angami-II A/C, Janak Prasad Pathak arrived at Kohima district on 6th February 2023.

On his arrival to Kohima district, DC & DEO Kohima, Shanavas C IAS briefed the General Observer on the preparedness status of the election process for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election 2023.

Later, the General Observer visited the Office of the Returning Officer & SDO Jakhama where he had a discussion with RO and ERO Jakhama for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming election.
