Department of Social Welfare, Jalukie ICDS Project along with Medical Team from CMO's Office, Peren jointly organised a block level importance of good nutrition-cum-medical camp at Lamhai Dungki Village Council Hall, Peren on 3rd September 2022. The camp was organised as part of the ongoing month-long celebration of Poshan Maah 2022.

Speaking in the programme, CDPO Jalukie, Namhuheing stressed on the importance and awareness of nutrition of all age groups especially children below 6 years, adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers, while Dr. Laseng also spoke on good nutrition and a healthy diet.

Pharmacist, Sunny also briefed the participants on National Nutrition Week 2022 which is being celebrated from 1st to 7th September. The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Lamhai Chairman, Akwa.
