On the occasion of the International Women's Day, the Dimapur Police organised a health awareness camp for women police personnel at DCP Zone II office on 8th March 2021.
Addressing the gathering, Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo, said that police personnel being in a very busy service, hardly get time to go for yearly health check-up. He however maintained that they should lead by example by keeping one's body fit and healthy.
Acknowledging the importance of women in the society, Tetseo, expressed concern over zero representative of women in state assembly and encouraged Naga women to participate in politics.
President, Inner Wheel Club, Sanjukta Bhattacharjee in her speech expressed gratitude to the women police personnel for their services and sacrifices made for the society. President, Rotary Club Dimapur, Kitoshi Zhimomi also gave a short speech on IWD 2021 theme 'choose to challenge'.
The first session was chaired by ACP, Ketoukhrielie Metha and the welcome address was given by DCO Zone II, Dimapur, Aotula T Imchen.
After the formal programme talk and interactive session on breast cancer and medical tests were conducted by Dr. Nitin Agarwal and Dr. Khushboo Agarwal.
