District Health Society, Tseminyu conducted a Health Mela at PHC Tesophenyu in commemoration of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and was graced by Advisor Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services & Women Resource Development, R Khing on 29th April 2022.

In his short speech, Khing urged the public to take proper health care adding that health is wealth. He also encouraged them to avail the free services and medicines.  He also thanked the medical department for conducting the health mela. The Advisor appealed to the people for their co-operation with state government in various activities.

Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS expressed his gratitude to the medical department for supplying medicines to the rural people and the committee members for their cooperation.

The programme was chaired by Chief Medical Officer Kohima, Dr. Vezokholu Theyo while vote of thanks was delivered by Deputy Chief Medical Officer Kohima, Dr. Khriesilie Sachu.
