The evening programme of the 73rd Republic Day celebration was held at Secretariat Plaza Kohima, with Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha IAS as the Chief Guest. 

On the occasion, an exhibition football match was played between the United Club Kohima and Amity Club Kohima, where United Club Kohima was declared the winner with a score of 3-1.

            In the category of Parade contingents 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners were 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Bn; Special Task Force and 10th NAP (IR) Bn respectively.

In the Exhibition stalls -Agricultural Department; Science & Tech Department; Soil & water Conservation got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.

Other highlights of the program included Band display by 14 AR Pipe Band and Nagaland Police Central Brass Band, PTS. The evening program ended with the beating of the Retreat.
