The Addl. Director General & all ranks of the Department of Home Guards’ and Civil Defence Nagaland has thanked Noke Konyak the Advisor of Home Guards’ and Civil Defence for donating Face Mask & Sanitizers for the Officers & personnel of the Department engaged in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in the State.

The officers & personnel of the Department along with the other frontline workers are engaged in performing the following duties;

1.      Thermal screening duty at check gates.

2.      Security duty of Quarantine centres & Isolation centres.

3.      Enforcing social distancing.

4.      Assisting in distribution of relief

5.      Disinfectant & fumication duty of important installations & Quarantine centres.

The Department has also expressed its sincere thanks to the Government/NSDMA for providing PPEs and other protective equipments required and also for the monetary incentive given to the personnel in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
