Atoizu subdivision celebrated the Independence Day along with the nation. MLA Imtichoba presided as the chief guest for the event. The day's festivities commenced with the hosting of the national flag by the chief guest, followed by parade inspection and the Independence Day speech. The march past consisted of four contingents.

Cultural elements enhanced the program, including a special song by KPA students, women folk song by STH Atoizu, and a men folk dance by Naghuto old village. The chief guest also inaugurated the CCTVs at Atoizu police station.
