Independence Day was celebrated at the SDO (Civil) Office Complex in Changtongya. C. Wangan, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), hoisted the Indian National Flag. The Independence Day speech concluded with a pledge for a drug-free Nagaland. The ceremony was attended by departmental officers, community leaders, and dignitaries.
