Jalukie Town commemorated the 77th Independence Day at GHSS Ground. Tovihoto Ayemi, Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Election, Government of Nagaland, hoisted the National Flag and received the Rashtriya salute from parade contingents. The National Anthem was performed by students from St. Xavier's College, Jalukie. The day featured the participation of five schools in the march past, along with cultural displays, special numbers, and pledges on Drug-Free Nagaland. The event concluded with the beating of the retreat by DEF Jalukie in the evening.
