Independence Day was celebrated at the Public Ground in Mangkolemba with fervor and patriotism. The event saw the presence of Temjenmenba, Advisor for Transport and Technical Education in the Government of Nagaland, as the special guest. The National Flag was hoisted by the Advisor, followed by the inspection of parade contingents. Notable participants included E Coy 2nd NAP Tzutapela, Govt. Higher Secondary School Mangkolemba, Baptist Higher Secondary School Mangkolemba, and St. Andrews School Mangkolemba. The special guest delivered the Independence Day speech. The day was marked by cultural presentations by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Longnak, and St. Andrews School Mangkolemba. The inauguration of exhibition stalls by the Special Guest was a highlight of the festivities.
