Independence Day celebration was held at Seyochung HQ Public Ground. Benei M Lamthiu, Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, graced the occasion as the special guest. Amidst the spirit of patriotism, the National Flag was hoisted, accompanied by the resonating National Anthem sung by St. Mary's High School. Parade Contingents, including V.G Yangzitong Village 'A' and 'B' and St. Mary's High School, were proudly led by Nikihe Chishi, Supedar Major of VGA. Special song by Lumliba T Sangtam and captivating cultural dances by Sumi Community Women and Sangtam Community Women added cultural depth to the event. The special guest also inaugurated the CCTV camera at the Police Outpost Station Seyochung HQ. The celebration saw the active participation of Heads of Offices, GBs, VCC members, and the public.
