The 77th Indian Independence Day was joyfully celebrated at Wakching Headquarters within the SDO (Civil) office compound. James Renbi Kikon, the SDO (Civil) of Wakching, hoisted the national flag and received the salute from Nagaland Police Wakching. The program included stirring renditions of the National Anthem by Government High School Wakching and a cultural song performed by the women of the SDO (Civil) colony.
