The 76th Independence Day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated at Chozuba with MLA Chotisuh Sazo as special guest who unfurled the national flag and took Rashtriya Salute at Chozuba Local Ground on 15th August 2022. He read out the Independence Day speech. 

The parade was led by Company Commander of 5th NAP ';B' Coy (Chetheba). March past contingents were 'B' Coy 5th NAP (Chozuba), Combined Contingents of 'F' Coy & 'G' Coy 111 Bn BSF, NCC GHSS (Chozuba), GHSS (Chozuba), GHS Japan Riba, GHS (Yoruba), Eastern Christian High School (Chozuba).

"Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign was launched from 13th to 25th August with hoisting of national flag in the households, institutions and government offices.

Entertainment items included Solo by Vesuto Khusoh, Girls Archery Team (BBBP) demonstrated archery show, school drill by GHS Japan Riba, Yorubami Youth Association followed by tug of war competition ward-wise.

Earlier MLA also visited the parade contingents with the commander. Dr Chotisuh Sazo formally inaugurated the exhibition stalls put up by GM DIC, SDAO, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department, Sekhotolu's Weaving and Handicrafts Society and NKVIB (Chozuba).

The visitation and feeding of patients marked the special celebration of Independence Day 2022 in Chozuba Sub Division on 15th August.

The Care-Centres like CHC (Chozuba), Prayer House (Chozuba village), Vutaba Prayer Centre and Special Home (Chozuba) were visited by BM of State Bank of India and Cooperative Bank (Chozuba).
