Jakhama Sub-division celebrated the 76th Indian Independence Day on 15th August 2022 at SDO (C) office premises. SDO Civil Jakhama, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi hoisted the national flag, took Rastriya salute and read out the Independence Day speech.

National Anthem was sung by the students of Government High School, Jakhama where all the Government officials, GBs, DBs and Public leaders attended the celebration.

Highlights of the function included special number by Keneisede Mere, indigenous songs by Jakhama Village Cultural Troupe and Kigwema Village Cultural Troupe.
