The 76th Independence Day was celebrated at Satakha town Zunheboto on 15th August 2022, with Khehovi Yepthomi, Advisor, Tourism, Art and Culture Government of Nagaland as the special guest.

The special guest hoisted the national flag and inspected the parade and delivered the Independence Day speech.

Nine parade contingents participated in the parade. Other highlights of the programme included recitation of Hindi poem, choreography and cultural items.
