Tizit observed the Independence Day celebration at the Local ground Tizit Hq with
Advisor Land Resources, C.L. John gracing the occasion. He unfurled the Nation Flag followed
by a rendition of the National Anthem by Holy Trinity School Tizit. John read out the
Independence Day speech.

The march past contingents were: 6th NAP Tizit, VG Loakkun, NCC, GHSS Tizit, GMS
Sector 'B' Tizit Town, Unit School, M.Jon School, Holy Angels School, St.Francis School, Holy
Trinity School.
Various Department officers & staff, Public Leaders, NGOs, and the General Public of
Tizit Town attended the function. More than 1500 (One Thousand Five Hundred) people
gathered to witness the celebration.
