The occasion at Rengma Sports Association Ground, Tseminyu Old Town was graced by Tongpang Ozukum, Minister for PWD Housing & Mechanical. He unfurled the national flag and took the Rashtriya salute and delivered the Independence Day speech. The chief guest inspected 7 (seven) parade contingents led by Mosenlo Apon Asstt Commdt 4th NAP Tseminyu. The special guest also formally inaugurated exhibition stalls from various departments under Tseminyu District, the national anthem was sung by Christian High School Tseminyu. The highlights of the programmes were cultural dance by Kandinu Public Union Tseminyu, Kasha Daho, and special numbers by Ephraim Pamie, the exhibition football match was played between DPDB Tseminyu vs Football Association Tseminyu District. Government employees, GBs, DBs, and public leaders attended the programme.
