The special train from Bangalore arrived at Dimapur Railway Station on 9th July 2020 around 8:20 am carrying 290 Naga returnees comprising of 137 from Dimapur and Peren district, Mon-37, Tuensang-19, Longleng-17, Kiphiri-18, Phek-4, Zunheboto-24, Mokukchung-4, Wokha-16 and Kohima-14.

Team Dimapur led by Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS received the Returnees. On arrival, Dimapur and Peren district Returnees were taken to Agri expo for further necessary protocols before sending them in the government Quarantine centers.

Returnees from the rest of the District of Nagaland underwent thermal screening at the medical counter at Railway station Dimapur, given food packets and were then transported in their respective districts by NST buses accompanied by their Liaison officer.

It may be mentioned that 49 Returnees from Manipur (Senapati district) also came from the same train. Team Dimapur provided food packets and water to the Manipur Returnees also, who were then transported by buses arranged by their government.
