As part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations, the National Flag was unfurled at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on January 26, 2026, by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Governor of Nagaland, Thavaseelan K, IAS.
The solemn ceremony was attended by officers and staff of Lok Bhavan, along with CPT, SB and AR personnel residing at Lok Bhavan, Kohima. The event reflected the spirit of patriotism and reverence for the Constitution of India, marking the significance of Republic Day.
