Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer NCS graced the 71st All India Cooperative week celebration 2024, under the Theme: " Role of Cooperative in Building Viksit Bharat", at R.M Seili Complex opposite SBI Kiphire, as Guest of Honour on 16th November 2024.

In his speech, Deputy Commissioner appealed to the Societies that the main objectives of a Cooperative Society is to serve the interest of the Self - Help and mutual help to provide goods and services to the consumers at a reasonable cost with the aim to encourage them towards productivity, savings, investment and equalised the community living especially in rural areas. So the DC urged the 427 registered Societies and non-registered Societies under Kiphire to produce what is productive in our land like Raja Mircha, Chilli, Potatoes, Pumpkin Powder, Millets, Ginger, Local products like Handicrafts etc. So the DC urged them to work unitedly, help each other, succeed together, help and grow together.

Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS) Kiphire, K. Lirichum Anar in his welcome address highlighted some of the success works and the role of Cooperative in Building Viksit Bharat. He also acknowledged the receipt of computers which was handed over to 16 PACS computerization under Kiphire District.

Entertainment and song was presented by Senti Ao DHO Kiphire, while the program concluded with vote of thanks from Tinglichum Sangtam LDA. All Head of Agri & Allied Departments attended the program and Muwali Y Sangtam, ICS chaired the program
