A one-day awareness program on 'Right to Information Act, 2005' was held with State Chief Information Commissioner, I. Meyionen Jamir; State Information Commissioners, T. Kekongchim Yimkhiung and State Information Commissioner, Nosazol Charles as the resource persons on 21st November 2024 at Cultural Hall, Shamator.

While speaking on RTI awareness, the Chief Information Commissioner of Nagaland appealed to the citizens to know the importance of RTI Act of 2005, while the power point presentation was delivered by the State Information Commissioner, T. Kekongchim Yimkhiung. The program was attended by the HoDs, NGOs, Students’ Unions and Village Councils of Shamator.  

Deputy Commissioner, Shamator, Chubatemjen chaired the program, and vote of thanks was proposed by State Information Commissioner, Nosazol Charles.
