The Directorate of Higher Education is pleased to inform that the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, has released ₹37 Crore for payment of the Post Matric Scholarship to ST students of Nagaland, which the Scheme Implementing Agency will soon disburse to the beneficiaries after completing the necessary formalities.
Furthermore, the Scheme Implementing Agency acknowledges the efforts of the Minister for Tourism & Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along for his proactiveness and all-out efforts in coordinating with the funding ministry for the release of scholarship. The Scheme Implementing Agency also extends gratitude to the Hon’ble Union Minister and the Ministry Officials of Tribal Affairs for keeping their assurance in releasing the sanction order at the specified time.
