The District Administration and District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW)-BBBP ongoing Tour of 'Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan' was conducted at Shamator Village on 23rd June 2025 lead by M. Lakiumong, CDPO Shamator.
The awareness campaign was organized on women safety and security schemes, along with a PMMVY (Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana) registration drive and sanitary pads distribution.
Women were informed about various government schemes and initiatives promoting their safety and security. Eligible beneficiaries were registered for the PMMVY scheme, providing financial support to pregnant and lactating mothers. Sanitary pads were distributed to promote menstrual hygiene and health among women.
As part of the ongoing campaign of " Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan " welfare efforts, an awareness campaign was also organized on 22nd June 2025 at Yakor Village, Shamator focusing on women safety and security schemes, a registration drive under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), and the distribution of sanitary pads to promote menstrual hygiene.
A helpdesk was established at the site to assist pregnant and lactating mothers in registration by the district administration and district hub for empowerment of women organised an Awareness Campaign on Women Safety and Security Schemes-cum-PMMVY Registration Drive and Sanitary Pads Distribution Outreach Activity.
