District Level Co-ordination Committee (DLCC) for Tobacco Control Program, Phek held its quarterly review meeting at DC's Conference Hall, Phek on 27th November 2025. The meeting was chaired by DC Phek, Rhosietho Nguori.

            The meeting discussed and deliberated on implementation of the guidelines issued by the Tobacco Free Educational Institutions (ToFEI), Government of India to create a healthy and Tobacco-free environment in Schools and Colleges by preventing use and sale of tobacco products. 

            Rentsamo Kikon, District Education Officer, Phek, Dr. Pfukrolo District Nodal officer for Tobacco Control cell and other Committee Members also spoke concerning the control of tobacco in schools and colleges at the meeting.
