The inaugural programme of Inter-District GHSS & GHS Tournament 2026 was held at Imkongmeren Sport Complex, Mokokchung on 14th April 2026 with Dr. Kekhriehoulie Yhome Advisor, School Education & SCERT, Government of Nagaland as the special guest.

            Yhome while addressing the gathering maintain that the objective of such tournament is to provide a platform to young talented sports persons to come together, compete, interact, and inculcate leadership skills, adding that the youngster might one day represent our state and country as well bringing laurels in the field of sports. He also stated that, the eco system of sports in the state has undergone a tremendous improvement with the state sports policy in place to provide all the necessary support to the talented sport persons to explore and achieve their goals.
