A Farewell programme in honour of retiring IPR officers and staff was held at the DIPR Conference Hall, Kohima on 27th February 2025. The farewell programme was chaired by Joint Director, I. Simon Teilia.
Director, Information & Public Relations, Dzüvinuo Theünuo in her address called upon all the officials present to reflect back and learn from the work experiences the retirees have shared, and highlighted the retirees’ work quality and sincerity while disseminating their duties. Asserting that the IPR Department is a service-oriented department, she called for teamwork, cooperation, sincerity and punctuality amongst the employees, and urged the officials not to find reasons or excuses to abstain from one’s assigned duty since every government employee are paid for their service.
During their farewell speeches, the retired officials: Assistant Director, SetuoNakhro; Language Officer, Yinkiuba Yimchunger; Driver Khriengulie and Duftry Gangbilung shared their work experiences and expressed gratitude for completion of 35 years of their service in good health.
Deputy Director, IPR Siewatho Nyusou in his short speech congratulated the retirees, and appealed to be active and involved in other social activities for the welfare of the community and to stay fit and healthy after their retired lives.
