The Monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Meeting-cum-Felicitation programme for HSLC & HSSLC Toppers and also AADHAAR Operator of Kiphire District and Pungro was held at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire on 15th May 2025, Under the Chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman, Kiphire DPDB, Temsuwati Longkumer NCS.

At the outset, Deputy Commissioner welcomed three New DPDB members, Rozy Sangtam SDO (C), Moses Newmai District Cultural Officer (DCO) and Lirila Sangtam Assistant District Education Officer (ADEO).

The highlight of the meeting was felicitation in recognition of the exemplary academic performance of the toppers, the Board commended the schools’ dedication to education and acknowledged the academic standards in the District was done by EAC  (HQ) Takatemjen Pongen NCS with DC  Temsuwati Longkumer NCS, Superintendent of Police Chinese Chakhesang and District Planning Officer (DPO) Koroto Ngullie.

 

HSLC Examination 2025 Toppers felicitated were:

1. Sunoka Sumi (Saramati School) and Zuzila L. Sangtam (Good Shepherd School) District’s Highest Marks in English 91 each.

2. Sunoka Sumi (Saramati School) District Highest Marks in Science 91.

3. Alemla T.Muphuliu (El Beth School) District Highest Marks in Social Science 95.

4.Thsarila C.Anar (Loyala Higher Secondary School) District Highest Marks in Alternative English 96.

5. Sulime S. Swi (LHSS) and Libo Sumi (Saramati School) District Highest Marks in ITeS 90.

6. Alenla T.Muphuliu (El Beth School) District Highest Marks in Book-Keeping 92.

7. Lumtsala (Agape HS School) District Highest Marks in Agriculture 98.

8. Sunoka Sumi (Saramati School) District Highest Marks in Mathematics A 92.

In HSLC, 802 students and 490 passed: 490, pass percentage: 61.10 %.

HSSLC Examination 2025 Topper felicitated was Thsatangpa Sangtam (Loyala Higher Secondary School) State Rank Holder in Top 4.

In HSSLC (Arts) number of students appeared: 273, passed: 239 and pass percentage: 87.55%. In HSSLC (Science) number of students appeared:7, passed: 3 and pass percentage: 42.86%.

The Felicitation programme for AADHAAR Operator of Kiphire and Pungro was also held. The Aadhaar Operators were awarded and felicitated with certificates for their sincerity and dedicated service. they are Atekhing, Chotsase, Hovimong, Lijungmong, Asokhieng and Lachim R.

After the felicitation programme, followed by DPDB Meeting, DC and Vice Chairman DPDB reviewed the last meeting minutes. The Agenda for the proposal for up-gradation of Mission School Kiphire from Primary to Middle school Kiphire was proposed by Assistant District Education Officer (ADEO), Lirila Sangtam, and after a deliberation, the Board agreed to approved it and forward it to the government for final approval.

For the construction of GB's Customary Court at Kiphire headquarters, GBs have been asked to attend the next DPDB meeting. DC has informed that some of the departments have not submitted the Feedback Forms and has urged the HODs to submit it without fail.

The PowerPoint presentation was presented by two departments, Social Welfare by Sienotho CDPO and Dr. Lahar Jyoti Bortiloi, Senior Scientist and Head KVK Kiphire.

The meeting conducted with a vote of thanks from the DC Kiphire.
