Change of Guard in Kohima Sümi Officers' Küqhalu (KSOK) coinciding with its raising day and Annual Session was held on 7th November 2024 in Mt. Olive College Auditorium, Kohima.

Hoto Yepthomi, Rtd. Director, Land Resources Department, founding member and Vice President of the union exhorted the officers to imbibe three vital values of sincerity, efficiency and honesty in the work place. He said that the lack of even one element out of these three in the constitution of an officer disqualifies him to be worthy and respectable. He also stressed on the importance of being conversant with rules, regulations and keeping abreast with guidelines and standing orders of the Government to enhance ones efficiency in the workplace. 

The outgoing President of KSOK, Warren Holohon Yepthomi, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner's Office highlighted the achievements and unfinished tasks of his tenure's team and thanked the members for their unflinching support. 

Vikashe H. Murumi, Dy. SP and Er. Vikheto Z. Kiba, JE gave the General Secretary and Treasurers report respectively while Khekavi K. Yeptho, Pastor, SBCK blessed all retired, promoted officers and also the old and new Office Bearers. 

Convener of the Search Committee, Er. Hutoi Aye, Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department placed its recommendations and the house gave its approval. 

The new team of Office Bearers for the tenure 2024-25 to 2026-27 is composed of Kitto Swu, Deputy Secretary as President; Khekihe K. Zhimo Asst. Director, Industries & Commerce Department as General Secretary; Er. Katoholi Achumi, SDO as Jt. Secretary; Lovikali Yepthomi, Jt. Transport Commissioner as Treasurer; Warren Holohon Yeptho, D.C as Advisor and Tosheli Zhimomi, Director, Social Welfare; Hekato Yeptho, Addl. Director; T. Kakihe Sumi, Addl. Director, Tourism; Dr. Nitovi Shikhu, Dy. Director, H&FW as Executive Members.

The programme was chaired by Vice President Hekato Yeptho, Addl. Director, Land Resources Department, invocation prayer by Akuto Achumi, Assoc. Pastor (Y), SBCK. A. Pitoho Chophy, Member, NPSC enthralled the gathering with singing in praise of God.
