A sensitization workshop for police personnel on Preventing and Combating Child Trafficking was held at DC's Conference Hall, Phek on 19th March 2026. The program was organized by the District Administration in collaboration with District Child Protect Unit (DCPU) and District Legal Services Authority, Phek. 
DC Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, in his keynote address stated that child trafficking is the gravest violations of human rights and urged all the stakeholders, particularly the law enforcing agency and the Police Department to effectively halt and discourage such activities in future. 
Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel (DLSA), Phek, Vethothi Vero spoke on Human Trafficking, while Retainer Lawyer, Sekhotso spoke on Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 respectively. 
A short speech on the activities of Police Force as stakeholder department was proposed by SDPO, Phek Khuza Jurry, NPS. District Child Welfare Program, Phek Zapocho Tetseo chaired the program and also delivered the welcome address. The program culminated with a vote of thanks delivered by EAC Phek, Imnasenla Walling, NCS.
