The district level anemia screening and awareness programme for adolescent girls was held at Inbung Village, Peren on 7th October 2025.

Speaking at the program, the District programme Officer, I. Tsungrosangla Ao stated that the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare organized Anemia Screening and awareness programme for the adolescents girls. While Medical Officer, Dr. Shebo Khing also stressed on the importance of menstrual hygiene and called for greater awareness within the community to ensure proper health care for adolescents girls.
