Amidst the lockdown to contain COVID-19 outbreak and holistic approach from top to bottom to averting humanitarian crises in the state, Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio paid a visit to State Level Control Centre (COVID-19) at Lotha Hoho Building, Kezekie at Kohima on 6th April 2020 to see himself the state level monitoring mechanism in the fight against global COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Chief Minister interacted with the senior officers at the centre on compilation of vital information from all the 11 districts on daily basis. OSD, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Johnny Raungmei briefed the Chief Minister on information about law and order situation and on supply chains of essential commodities and its availability in the entire state.

As the lock down enters the third week, Rio also inquired about the figures of migrant labourers particularly those hapless from all the11 districts and called upon the officers at the state level Control centre to compile all the information from the districts in the fight against COVID-19 and encouraged to make it more comprehensive.
