Chief Secretary, Dr. J. Alam, IAS has inspected the road conditions along the National Highway near olive Hospital junction under Chumukedima District on 9th July 2025. He was accompanied by the team comprising DC, Chumoukedima; EAC, Seithekema; district administration officials; NSDMA officials, and Dobashi.
In the wake of incessant rainfall across the States, the Chief Secretary instructed district administration and NSDMA, to visit flood - affected areas and supervise the relief work. During the inspection, Dr. J. Alam also gathered information from the officials on the ongoing projects and about the rain- induced damage.
He also directed them to take precautionary measures and ensured of providing all necessary assistance under Disaster Management to flood affected areas.
