The Kihoto Theological College, Yakor Village, Shamator, run by Yimkhiung Baptist Borü Amukhongto (YBBA), observed a Cultural Day under the theme "Embracing similarities, celebrating differences" with Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, S. Keoshu Yimchunger as the special guest on 12th August 2026.

Yimchunger in his address acknowledged the College authorities for observing such a colourful and meaningful programme. He said that the Nagas should embrace and preserve all culture irrespective of tribes as everyone is related in some ways. He added that Kihoto Theological College (KTC) has students from eight different tribes which shows the growth and development of the college. Yimchunger stated that usage of culture has different significance in different events and the Nagas must preserve their culture, which has been passed down the generations, irrespective of their profession.

The Advisor encouraged the students to inherit the best practice by the forefathers such as simplicity, honesty, truth, respect to elders and hardworking apart from preserving their tradition and culture.
