In view of the partial clearance of the landslide debris NH 702, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mokokcung, Thsuvisie Poji has issued a travel advisory on 26th June 2023 that the Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) are now allowed to pass through Changtongya to Longleng road from 6 AM to 6 PM with immediate effect. The drivers of such vehicles are advised to exercise utmost caution while passing through the affected area and avoid taking this route at the time of bad weather/foggy conditions/heavy rainfall. They are also advised not to halt/stop/park their vehicles in and around the landslide-affected area in order not to risk their and their co-passengers lives.
