Deputy Commissioner, Mon issued an order in modification of this office order No.GA/DEV/COVID-19/2020/216/Dated 27th of March 2020, the following regulations are hereby imposed for purchase of essential commodities in Mon Town with effect from 6th April 2020 till further orders.
Maximum permissible quantity per day
- Rice - 10 kg per family.
- Dal - 1 kg per family
- Potato - 3 kg per family
- Tomato - 2 kg per family.
- Chilli - 1 kg per family.
- Onion - 2 kg per family.
- Oil - 1 litre per family.
- Milk powder - 1 kg per family.
- Sugar - 1 kg per family.
- Tea leaves - 1 kg per family.
All the shopkeepers have been ordered to strict comply with the above mentioned regulations. Any person/group acting in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under Section 188 of the Indian penal Code.
