Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Peren district Vineet Kumar IAS has notified that in view of the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and in the interest of public peace and tranquility Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Peren has ordered to impose sealing of all inter-state borders and district borders w.e.f 6.00 p.m 26th February till 6.00 A.M of 28th February 2023 to ensure that no infiltration occurs in Peren District during the election period and to prevent any emergency nature of Law and Order situation in the district. He also mentioned that the security personnel on duty, ambulances carrying patients, medical emergencies, and people required for providing essential service are exempted from the purview of this order. The Deputy Commissioner also informed that any person found in violation of this order shall be prosecuted under the relevant section of the law.
