In continuation of this office letter No. LLG/DEV-33/2009-10/989 dated Longleng the 15th November 2021, pertaining to the protection of Amur Falcon, Notice is issued to all the concerned that "Amur Falcon is protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, Trapping, Killing and Selling of Amur Falcon is a criminal offense punishable with 3 (three) years rigorous imprisonment or a fine of Rs. 25,000/- or both under section 51 of the said Act".

Therefore, all the Village Council Chairmen and Ward Presidents under the Longleng district have been directed to take up the matter as a top priority and to monitor and give strict instructions within their respective jurisdiction.
