Dimapur Police arrested 4 (four) person Valen Sote, Medovi Kiso, Thejasekho Sirie and Vilakhotuo Vizo on 18thApril 2020 for physical assault of some non-locals and circulation of a video clip recording the same incident in Vidima village. A case has been registered in sub urban police station for further investigation.

Police urged the public to exercise caution while posting pictures/videos on various social media platforms and informed that stringent action will be taken against any such defaulter as per the relevant section of IPC and Information Technology Act.
