The Department of Youth Resources & Sports organised the District Level Youth Festival on 13th September 2025 at the Cultural Hall, Shamator, under the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047 and the Role of Creator Economy.” Sunso C of Shamator College won the Declamation competition, while the Christian High School bagged the Folk Song title, and St. Xavier Higher Secondary School won the Folk Dance contest. On behalf of the department, District Sports Officer, Athrong Yimchunger lauded the enthusiastic participation of the youth.
