Nchumthung Ezung NCS Returning Officer, 17 Chizami Assembly Constituency, Phek, vide Notification No.RO/17AC/ELE/2022-24 Dated, Chizami, the 31st January 2023 has given notice for the election of a member to the Nagaland legislative Assembly as below:-
1. An election is to be held of a Member to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in the 17 Chizami Assembly Constituency;
- nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his proposers to Shri Nchumthung Ezung, Returning Officer, or to Ketsinle Tep, Assistant Returning Officer, at the Office Chamber of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Chizami Hq between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on any day (other than public holiday) not later than 07/02/2023 (Tuesday);
- Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid;
- nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at 11.00 AM on 08/02/2023 (Wednesday) at the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) & Returning Officer 17 Chizami A/C;
- notice of withdrawal of candidature may be delivered either by a candidate or by any of his proposers or by his election agent who has been authorized in writing by the candidate to deliver it to either of the officers specified in paragraph (2) above at his office before 3:00 PM on 10/02/2023 (Friday);
- In the event of the election being contested, the poll will be taken on 27/02/2023 (Monday) between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
