Observer, Election Commission of India (ECI), S. Suresh Kumar, IAS interacted with officials of General Election 2023, Nagaland for 18-Chozuba, Assembly Constituency at G/ A Rest House on 7th February 2023.

Suresh Kumar instructed the officials to be vigilant and attentive. In a democratic state like India, Election duty is a job for the government servants. Kumar instructed timely reports for the daily electioneering. He directed to maintain the video recording properly. Returning Officer informed that there was no violation of the model code of conduct of ECI to date. The Observer assured ECI of the officials' peaceful duty. Kumar told to the Returning Officer for public notice when the candidate has a criminal record.

The meeting was attended by different teams of the Election Model Code led by Additional Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer, Imokokla. Later S. Suresh Kumar visited the nomination file records in Returning Officer Office.
