The Angami Women Organization (AWO)  in a press release shared their joy with Neihunuo Sorhie, a handloom artisan, who was conferred Padma Award 2023 by the President of India Droupadi Murmu at Durbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on March 22.

It stated AWO celebrated her achievement with joy and pride. "We greatly appreciated her outstanding contribution towards the promotion and preservation of Nagaland handloom, motifs, and designs at various levels.

We wish her further success to achieve greater height and pray to Almighty for wisdom and guidance" the release stated.
