The Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) convened its fourth meeting at the PRO Defence Office, Kohima, on September 8, 2026, under the chairmanship of Ella Kayina, Head of Programme, Akashvani Kohima.

Representatives from various departments, including PRO Defence Kohima, Akashvani Kohima, Doordarshan Kendra Kohima, Central Bureau of Communication, Press Information Bureau (PIB), Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), and Census Office, Kohima, presented brief reports on the publicity and outreach activities undertaken by their respective departments during the previous month.

The host of the fourth IMPCC meeting, Lt. Col. Amit Shukla, Defence PRO and spokesperson for Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, briefed the members on the organisational structure and functioning of the Ministry of Defence. He also outlined the key activities undertaken by his office through a PowerPoint presentation.

The committee decided to hold its next meeting at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Kohima.
