A one-day free Mega Health Camp for officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat got underway at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 17th September 2025.
Home Commissioner, Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, IAS in his address said, when Tikvah Healthcare Private Limited, Dimapur approached Nagaland Civil Secretariat to conduct a health camp, they welcome the idea as they realized that such type of health camp would benefit the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat since they are mostly engaged in the office assignments not concerning much or stop caring much about their health as they should be and he therefore reiterate that health is the most important wealth that anyone has, and unless one falls ill, they don't realize its value. He pointed out that timely preventive health screening has now become so important since our body sometimes does not give that indicator about if something is cropping up in our body, and therefore called upon all to attending such health camps and getting your body checked every now as it has become crucial to have good health to enjoy any other thing in this world.
He also acknowledged Tikvaha Healthcare Private Limited who in collaboration with Amrita hospital for conducting the mega health camp with super specialized setup, experts and doctors and encouraged all the staffs and officers of Nagaland Civil Secretariat to take it as an opportunity which has come at their door by partaking in healthcare then going to health care in other part of the country. Abhijit Sinha, IAS also pointed out that we take many things for granted and think since we have been not facing any health problem, it would continue like this but reasoned that as we age and work with so much stress we will never know, unless we go to the hospital and asked all take care of your health, go for regular medical screening and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Shorts speeches were also proposed by Ram Ganapathi, Chief Marketing Officer, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad and Benthungo Kithan, Director, Tikvah Healthcare Private Limited while the programme was chaired by Dr. Thungbemo Edwim Humtsoe, Tikvah Healthcare Private Limited.
The camp organized by Tikvah Healthcare Private Limited in collaboration with Amrita Hospital, Faridabad provided preventive health screening and superspeciality consultations with the following arrangements, Complete Camp infrastructure and Patient Management Services and Provisions for on-site diagnostic services such as, USG, ECG, 2D Echocardiography, FibroScan, Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Testing, Biothesiometry, ICTC van for viral marker screening and Routine Blood investigations.
The Mega Health Camp was led by Dr. Thungbemo Edwim Humtseo from Tikvah Healthcare Private Limited and six other doctors and experts from Tikvaha Healthcare Private Limited, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, Dr. Lal Pathlab-ENR Health, Fourrts (India) Laboratories Pvt. Limited, Chennai and District Hospital Dimapur
The camp aimed to initiatively benefit all officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat by enabling early detection and management of health conditions through access to advance medical expertise and diagnostic services.
