The Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on 5th November 2026, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice-Chairman DPDB Longleng, W. Manpai Phom, NCS at DPDB Hall, Longleng. The meeting commenced with an introduction of new members followed by a welcomed note from the chair.

Reviewing the previous meeting minute, the Board reviewed the proposal of the police department regarding the shortage of police personnels under DEF Longleng. The board recommended the proposal to the higher authority for consideration.

Development of drainage infrastructure in the rural and urban areas was discussed. The house also approved and constituted a verification committee to verify the LADP schemes under 50 A/C Longleng and 49 A/C Tamlu.

SDO (c) Longleng, P. Pukha Lam, NCS, briefed on the state-wide mass social work which is scheduled on 13th November 2026, from 6:00 A.M onwards. He apprised the members that the purpose of the mass social work was to ensure cleanliness, hygienic and beautification of public places and surroundings areas in view of the upcoming festive season.

The DC also extended his appreciation to all HoDs for making the 4th Inter Departmental Tournament a grand success.

The Department of Forest Longleng presented the activities of the department implemented in the district through PowerPoint presentation during the meeting. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
