In view of the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the district, it is required to conduct physical verification of all firearms and ammunition being held by the licensees in the Wokha district following the rules 30 and 112 of the Arms Rules 2016.

Therefore, all the arms license holders under the Wokha district have been directed to report to the concerned Police Station between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM by the 31st of December 2022 with the arms/ammunition and license booklet for physical verification.

The Officer-in-charge of the concerned Police Station shall furnish a daily report in excel format with the following details.

Name of the License holder, License Number, UIN Number, Type of Arms & Number, License last renewed date, and number of ammunition available.
