Returning Officer for 7-Peren Assembly Constituency, Vekhoyi Chakhesang has informed that:
- An election is to be held of a member to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in the 7-Peren Assembly Constituency.
- Nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or by any of his proposer/s to the Returning Officer or to Meyazungba Jamir SDO (Civil) Peren Hq and Assistant Returning Officer 7-AC Peren Assembly Constituency at the office of the Returning Officer 7-Peren AC, Old DC Complex, Peren town between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm or any day (other than public holiday not later than 07/02/2023).
- Forms of Nomination paper may be obtained at the place and time aforesaid.
- The nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at the Office of the Returning Officer 7-Peren AC, Old DC Complex, Peren town on 08/02/2023 Wednesday at 12:00 pm.
- Notice of withdrawal of candidates may be delivered either by the candidates or by any of his proposer/s or by his election agent who has been authorized in writing by the candidates to deliver it to either of the officers specified above at his office before 03:00 pm on 10/02/2023 (Friday).
- In the event of the election being conducted, the poll will be taken on 27/02/2023 (Monday) between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
