Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS has notified the following revised guidelines:-
PUBLIC PLACES
- Wearing of face cover is compulsory in all public places.
- Funeral/last rites related gatherings shall ensure social distancing and the maximum number of people allowed shall not be more than 20.
- Spitting in public places shall be punishable with fine.
- Minimum six feet distance from each other needs to be maintained at all times. Shopkeepers shall ensure that not more than 5 persons are present at a particular time.
- Persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years shall stay at home except for health emergencies.
WORK PLACES
- Adequate stock of face covers shall be made available.
- Adequate gaps between shifts, staggering the lunch breaks of staff shall be ensured.
- Sufficient quantities of handwash and sanitizers shall be made available at all entry and exit points, common areas and work places.
- Frequent sanitization of entire work place, common facilities and all points which come into human contact e.g. door handles etc, shall be ensured including between shifts.
- Employees, both private and public, must use AarogyaSetu App. Bluetooth should be switched on at all times.
- Large physical meetings are banned.
DC Mon, further issued an order that the ban on movement of private vehicles except those permitted across the district (issued vide Order No.GA/DEV/COVID-19/2020/454 Mon, dated the 17th April, 2020) shall continue to remain in place.
